Little League Day with the Diamondbacks
Saturday was Little League Day at Chase Field. It was a great day! Nathan got to walk the field before the game. Unfortunately the D-Backs did not bring their "A" game and lost to the Dodgers 11 to 1. It was a little painful to watch but like my Dad said "there is no such thing as a bad day at the ballpark"!

The Cub Scout Post!
The last week was filled with Scout Activities........
Nathan's Graduation From Webelo I to Webelo II

Camp Digalus
The Thurman Pose Must Be Hereditary
(Although I am Sure it skipped a Generation)

The Highlight of The Day

An Apache Helicopter Landed to Hundreds of Scouts Chanting USA! USA!
The Dirty Derby

The Dirty Derby is like the Pinewood Derby on steroids. The bright orange car is Chris' car "Stimulus Package". The name was a crowd favorite. Someone yelled "if it loses Congress can just vote it into 1st place" Chris placed 4th out of 25 cars.....Unfortunately Congress would not take the vote after they found a NoBama bumper sticker on the back of his truck :(

Nate's "New" Bike
One of my friends gave her son's old bike to Nate. It is a really nice bike but needed new grips, seat and tires. Nathan had been saving for a new bike and was so excited about this one that when we went to pick it up he loaded into the back of my car by himself! He spent his own money and helped Chris fix it up. The guy at the bike store told Nate to be sure to keep it locked up because someone would steal it for the wheels alone Yikes! He is very proud of his New bike.
