Hiking and Geocaching

Yesterday we rode our bikes to Thunderbird Park and hiked the hills "geocaching".

From the site www.geocaching.com "Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment."

This is so much fun! We found two yesterday one at Thunderbird Park and one in the desert behind our house. Each had a notebook to log our visit and trinkets left by previous geocachers. We left behind a hot wheels car and key chain from the boys school. We are going to hide our own geocache next time we visit the sand dunes :)
